KraftMaster Renovations, a home remodeling and improvement company, has continuously risen to this challenge with their inspirational designs and exceptional craftmanship.

We recently spoke with Bob Gockeler, president of KraftMaster Renovations, to learn more about current bathroom trends, renovations tips, as well as their Ashland Terrace project – a bathroom remodel featuring the AIRMADA AirJet Shower Drying System which helped to take their project to the next level.

Tell us about your background in renovations and remodeling.
I began remodeling over 20 years ago as a full-time professional, and I believe in always learning and improving. I hold several certifications with NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry): CR (Certified Remodeler) and CKBR (Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler). As the principal of our generational family business, I have assembled a team of the best-in-class designers and trade installers. Our team's efforts have won us multiple CotY (Contractor of the Year) awards and the Remodeling Magazine Big 50 Award.

How did you hear about AIRMADA Drying Solutions?

During a shopping trip with a client, a brochure on display caught the client's attention. With a little bit of research and some information from our salesperson at Hardware Designs, the client knew that was a feature for their bathroom that they had to have!

Tell us about the Ashland Terrace project and why you chose AIRMADA Drying Solutions for the bathroom.

The client was interested in having all the modern bells and whistles for their primary bathroom renovation. Because they were installing a steam shower, the AIRMADA Drying system was recommended to them as well. With the high-end finishes that were installed, it was a priority to keep them looking as beautiful as the day we were finished with the construction. The idea that the AIRMADA Shower Drying system could dry out the shower easily and effectively was the main selling point since the homeowner battled with mold and mildew in their previous shower.

Have you used AIRMADA in any previous renovations or remodels?

This was our first experience sourcing the AIRMADA Shower Drying System, and it did not disappoint!

Does your clientele request solutions for combatting mold and mildew?

We pride ourselves as a design-build firm that brings innovative ideas to our clients' attention. Now that we have installed our first AIRMADA system and have a reference point to discuss with our clients, we can inform them of AIRMADA’s capabilities.

What trends in bathroom design are you seeing today?

As our clients have begun to travel again post-COVID, a lot of inspiration and direction has come from their stays at beautiful hotels and spa experiences.

What changes/results did you see in the areas where you installed AIRMADA for your clients?

The AIRMADA Drying System successfully dries the Ashland Terrace shower. Unfortunately, as designers/remodelers, we do not get to experience the AIRMADA system every day. However, we conducted adequate tests on-site to ensure it was working properly and the client understood the simple interface to be well-versed in using the product.

What’s the best renovation or remodeling lesson you have learned?

a. Dare to be different!

b. Take chances and seek out new product offerings for your clients and their projects. We are very comfortable being uncomfortable. Don't be afraid to try new ideas; our clients deserve better than our prior best.
